\nCEMEXCPO) inform\u00f3 hoy que una de sus subsidiarias en Estados Unidos lleg\u00f3 a un acuerdo para
\naumentar su participaci\u00f3n en Lehigh White Cement Company (\u201cLehigh White\u201d) de 24.5% a 36.75%.
\nLehigh White es una compa\u00f1\u00eda estadounidense que manufactura cemento blanco en Estados Unidos, la
\ncual es actualmente propiedad en un 51% de Lehigh Cement Company LLC, una subsidiaria en Estados
\nUnidos de HeidelbergCement, 24.5% propiedad de Aalborg Cement Company, una subsidiaria en Estados
\nUnidos de Cementir Holdings S.p.A, y 24.5% propiedad de una subsidiaria de CEMEX en Estados Unidos.
\nHeidelbergCement ha acordado vender su participaci\u00f3n de 51% a Cementir y CEMEX. Como resultado,
\nCementir tendr\u00eda una participaci\u00f3n de 63.25% y CEMEX tendr\u00eda una participaci\u00f3n de 36.75% de Lehigh
\nWhite.
\nSe espera que la cantidad total que pague CEMEX sea de aproximadamente 34 millones de d\u00f3lares.
\nEl cierre de esta transacci\u00f3n se espera tenga lugar a finales del primer trimestre de 2018 y est\u00e1 sujeto al
\ncumplimiento de condiciones habituales para este tipo de transacciones.
